National Write Your Congressman Announces Matt Reed as 2026 David N. Adamson Founders Award Winner
DALLAS – July 8, 2026 – National Write Your Congressman (NWYC), an organization that gives small businesses a voice in American government, honors Matt Reed of Appleton, Wisconsin, with the 2026 David N. Adamson Founders Award (DNA Award).
The award, one of NWYC's highest honors, is presented annually to the sales representative who best embodies the spirit, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission upon which NWYC was founded. Recipients receive an elegant certificate and a stunning Waterford crystal eagle. The award was presented to Reed during the Midwest Region Conference held on May 1 in Des Moines.

Reed works in the Midwest Region and has risen to become one of NWYC's top ten sales representatives, leading one of the organization's top districts. He has been with NWYC for more than eight years, previously working in sales and project management roles at Grainger, Thilmany Papers and MPI Speciality Warehouse, Inc.
Known for his integrity, professionalism, and dedication in the field, he sets a strong example for his team by leading from the front. He and his wife Carla have both served as exceptional ambassadors for NWYC's mission throughout their time with the organization. Reed formerly served as an Alderperson for the City of Appleton, Wisconsin.
